Kustom, baby! :D

They Made those for years just a little south of town here...and Road amps (remember those?) in another town south of here...Ive seen them in old Elton John concert vids from the 70s

I would really love to see this thread continue - wish I could post some pics of my favorites but I'm at work and everything is blocked.

In general though I'm in love with anything in a good mahogany cabinet - any woody earthy tones i love and tweed

This will be mine someday... LOVE IT.

Saw a purple one before and it was absoletely devine. NOt to mention it can crank and is my dream amp.

Wow I really like the look of that, nice choice - never seen it before, whats the model?

I like these a lot.

Another update - I'm (obviously) a little biased since I happen to own this one, but my Mesa Roadster head with a custom black diamondplate face plate I bought off an endorser buddy:

Not my picture (my buddy took this before he sold it to me) but while I'm not normally big on the black-on-black look, this is just a very serious looking, subtly attractive amp that happens to also sound amazing. :D

I want it! Seriously Bud - that's one finesassed Amp... Bet it sounds as sweet as it looks too.

I've never played a better sounding amp. Honestly. I know it's not for everyone, but the lead sounds I'm getting out of this are to die for, and it (obviously) handles rhythm pretty well too (and has some of the best cleans I've ever heard from a Mesa, to boot).

I like the look and the sound of Mesa Boogie combos with the wood and wicker grille.

I like the idea and the look of the 0.5 watt Zvex Nano but not the price.

Man, this has GOT to be the most subjective thing we have ever talked about. Some of those are just plain ugly to me- not gonna say which, but skid plate belongs on a oil drilling rig, not an amplifier...:p

I'm really fond of the late '60s Kustom tuck 'n roll amps and cabs - I think they came in sparkly colors, too. (They sounded suck-ey but they looked killer. :D)

That's so true...they always overheated and shorted out...

That could be it, BrentDomann. I do love the art-deco design of those.

Conrad Velvet Hammer. Or the exotic wood cabinet Matchless amps.
