Of course, I may be "slightly" biased, but I think the Acoustic Control 261 was one of the most recognizable designs and certainly attracted its share of attention on any stage.

One of the other band members from quite a few bands ago had one of those Silvertone amps-I played through it a few time at practices. I sure looked cool but there was no overdrive sound to it at all-the retro vibe was cool though!!

They'll get a great, grungy break up if you crank them up!

If we have to stay stock, I think the new Mesa Stiletto Ace combo in green is pretty hot:

It's available standard in either black or this finish.

If we can get into customs, then I've had the worst GAS for a red crocodile Roadster head after seeing this:

I don't like the natural corners, but that's about it.

Holy Cow, I used one of those amp/cabinet setups back in about 1976-I hadn't seen a picture of it in decades. I played a Strat through it and it was a ear piercing combination!!!!!!!!!!!
I finally got myself a combo amp and let the keyboard player use the Acoustic.
