Best anolog console for rap: please help

hey everybody

I need to know the best anolog console i can get for rap and r&b for 3000 g'z max.
 
I dont think there is such thing as a best console for Rap.
Tell us what your needs are in a console and maybe we could give you some suggestions
 
I want to have real good sound quality and be able to somehow hook it up to a computer for further editing.

3000 grands? Thats THREE MILLION DOLLARS :eek: Hey, I got a GREAT Studiomaster I'll sell ya CHEAP. Only 1000 g'z. :D Best Rap sound you ever heard. Just RAP it when it buzz's and the buzz disappears. :rolleyes: :p

Without knowing what the rest of your signal chain is, it is hard to give advice.

My personal opinion is that Rap by it's very nature, doesn't really call for an analogue console, but hey, it's your money you're looking to spend so tell us what other gear you have to go with a console and let's see what happens.

Do you have mics and preamps and compressors already?

Do you have a quality A/D coverter for your computer? (since you said you will transfer it for further editing)
