best 61+ key midi-controller for under $300

Yea... so I've been using an Oxygen8 for the past 6 months and it is just god awful. I need more octaves, better response, less random sounds sending to cubase from the controller, and ESPECIALLY semi-weighted or weighted keys. I've been browsing around the 'net, specifically zzounds.com, but I just don't trust the reviews on any of those sites. I don't need any fancy things like on the MicroKONTROL/Ozone8/etc, I just need a really good, reliable, sturdy built midi-controller with weighted keys.
