Behringer x1204usb issue

I just got a new Behringer x1204usb mixer in today. With nothing else hooked to it yet, I plugged in my Studio Projects B1 mic in and turned the mixer & phantom power on. I put it in PFL mode and went to test the mic volumes. The clip light on every channel is a solid red! Some have said it happens to them and they power cycle and it'll work after awhile, not for me. I pulled the fuse out but it checked out fine. Before I send it back I'm hoping someone might have some other troubleshooting tips.

you do not need to put on the pfl (pre fader listen ) on to monitor it. simply route the main mix to the phones/control room and bingo (righthand side middle as you look at it Your righthand )

you dont say what your doing with it . whats your signal chain. are you recording to a pc using the mixer? please ellaborate so we might give a fuller answer thanks
