Well, her I go hijacking a thread again

but you guys all seem to use what I would consider massive power amps for your monitors. Aren't you afraid of blowing them? I know you turn the amp down, but if a volume pot goes bad...

Nope, never worried about that. I did blow a pair of Sony 7506s when I accidentaly left them plugged into the headphone jack of my speaker switch box. At the time I was also using the PB-1 to power our rehearsal P.A. (JBL 4725s).

Here is a little song I made two days ago using the Guitar V-Amp Pro.
I made it in like two hours.
I own the Bass and Guitar versions of the V-Amp pro, and I like em both.
I also use the Line 6 PODXT live pedal for live shows. I tend to like the V-Amp more for recording and my XT Live pedal more for live shows, sounds wise anyway.
Don't mind my bad drumming, cause I'm not really a drummer.
I plan on adding vocals later.
Have a Listen.

Here is a song me and my bass player roughed out a while back.
All guitars and bass were recorded using a V-AMP Pro.
'Fantasy Fuel'

So what do you think of the A/D on the unit? Is it good enough to take out to the track, or do you go analog out to your soundcard/interface?

I've compared it and any differences I really didn't notice. Since they sound the same I use the S/PDIF out to soundcard S/PDIF in because it's convenient.

Hi guys just to let you know I went the BASS V-amp pro in the end as sound on sound explained that its really is only 25% bass and most the cabinets from the guitar version are there anyway. Plus Keyboard! It sounds good so far, not really had much time to play but I think I can fu*k up some sounds to make interesting arrangments on certain things.

Now for my next purchase... A Rickenbacker 330/12 hahahaha! whos going to talk me out of that!?
