I've been floating around the behringer site and i noticed they are selling stomp boxes now. The normal distortions, overdrive, flanger ect.

I've never actually heard of their stomp boxes. Must be a new release. They look alot like the boss range (strangely enough  )

Anyone ever dared to try one and lived to so kindly share their experience with us? :D

They're not released yet. Originally, they looked even more like (= exactly like) the Boss ones, but Roland (Boss' 'owner') had sued Behringer for that, so now they look different, and will be released later.

But for the price I'm probably going to try some

mhhh,
you can get stomp boxes for cheap,

distortion, boss ds1
chorus, that other boss pedal,

superfat distortion;: tech21
u can get aural exiters and compressors by all brands

i just wonder...how much cheaper can behringer make them?
i'd rather buy me ONE stompbox that i'm proud of instead
of six berries that just Work and nothing more...

I'll probabley end up trying one or 2 to see what they are like also.

This is what im wondering about, will berry live up to their bad name. Or will they actually release something good. Who knows

Well, as for their Wah-wah pedal which will be released within a few months, they originally stated it was 'modelled after' the most expensive Cry Baby, but they also had to take that off their website :P

I've written about this before, but the short answer is that they can at least halve the production costs of a similar old-style pedal with roughly identical circuitry by going to new microminiature, surface-mount production.

That's what DigiTech and others have recently done, and I suspect that Behringer is doing the same with this line. Pure robotic production with smaller, less expensive, more consistent modern components and all on-board construction is hugely less expensive and is probably technically superior if designed properly.

Check out the new DigiTech adaptations of the old DOD stomps.

All inqueries Behringer should be addressed to Mustafa Salaam.

I'm waiting for them to come out.. I want to try their noise supressor.. Primarily because I'm cheap and don't want to spend 100$ on a Boss NS-2..

Dose anyone know if their is a set date for when the line is being released?
I want to get my hands on the reverb pedal =)

I have to go on both sides of the line here. Behringer in the past has released junk. At the same time they have released some pretty cool things for the musician on a budget. I really think what happens is that alot of people think that when Behringer comes out with something new say like their V-Ampire, people assume it will compete with a Line6. It has happened with alot of their gear, mixing consoles, and their amps. If people would realize Behringer is only trying to put the best quality they can for the cheepest price and stop comparing them to these Big name Brands that are way out of the ball-park of what Behringer is. Compare this you have a $30.00 Eq pedal...Would you compare it to another which sells for $300.00? I am waiting for them to release the pedals. I think they will be good for the money

Aren't MOST Behringer products intended to be stomped on?!?  :p :D

Does anyone have any good behringer products? There has to be SOMETHING that they make well, or at least well enough to compete.

Thats what makes it so funney, They are trying to get a law suit.
