Behringer or Alto mixer?

Hello i'm looking to buy a mixer for home recording and was wondering which company makes a better mixer, Behringer or Alto?

Any input would be great

if you can stretch the budget for an equivalent yamaha (mg series) then go for it.

definately the Yamaha MG series.... just got myself the MG12/4 (the cheapest one with faders)....
