Behringer MX3282A Mixer price

I am looking to start up a studio at home and I have just found someone who is selling a Behringer MX3282A 24 channel Studio mixer (second hand).

The price is £220.00.

Is this a good price and will it do the job?

I don't know about UK prices and how they compare here in Canada. Go to the Behringer website, and they have a price list for many regions throughout the world. Check there to see how much it goes for new.

The price on the site was 1339 CAD and £647 GBP.

Do you think this is good value ?

It looks like it is in very good condition.

Check the Power Supply on that baby, the cables go bad easily, and BTW it's a 32 channel 8 bus.

That sounds like an excelent price if everything is working, I think you may be unhappy with the sound quality in the long run, but for flexibility and number of channels, at that price, not too bad.

My church has one for live sound.

If you don't need so many channels, save your money and get an Allen Heath, or a Soundcraft.

The worst case scenario you could sell it again to somebody down the line, probably for more than that price.

I bought the dam thing in the end!

Everything seems to work OK and I got if for £200.00.

I have set it up and I have downloaded the manual off the Behringer site.

The only problem I have at the moment is a constant HUM.

Any suggestions anyone?

Where do you hear the hum? how is the mixer connected?

Is the hum in headphones only, monitors, Solo bus?


Um, try wiggling the power cord from the power supply to the mixer, see if anything happens.
