Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone could try and help me with the following issue.
I have recently bought a Behringer HA8000 8-channel Headphones Amp.
I am connecting it to my gear with a stereo/headphone jack splitting to two mono jacks.
When I connect the amp to the headphone socket of a keyboard everything sounds crystal clear, it’s my emu USB 0404 sound card which is giving me grey hairs.
As soon as the stereo side of the cable even touches the opening of the headphone socket on the emu a very distinct noise is heard in the headphones.
I have returned the first unit I received and I am now on to my second one, and exactly the same noise is heard. Interestingly enough I was able to make the noise disappear on the first unit by tilting the amp slightly, but even that doesn’t help on the one I have now been sent.
Can anyone help???
