Not really. For $140, there aren't many other mixers available for you.
You can sell it on ebay after you're done with it for pretty close to what you paid for it. I recently ditched my mx802a for a soundcraft E12. Did the whole ebay thing.

I've had the MX2004A for almost a year now and it's basically the same as yours except four more Mic Pres. Love it. Can't beat em for the Bux. CR ><>
