I have been " in the box" for about 4 years now. 
Although, the studio I work at sometimes got a Manley line mixer a while back. I haven't been in there since to do a mix through it, but am certainly looking forward to it!
But, summing isn't the biggest issue I have with mixing in the box. It is the tedious task of controlling plugins that sucks ass! I do a LOT of playing around with plugins, and using the mouse is really annoying!
I miss being able to grab a knob and turn it! All this clicking around trying to find shit, then having to CAREFULLY move a knob via the mouse more or less get's me to the "fugit, good enough" stage FAR too easily.

I dont know but I got a "nu man" microphone from my mate for $ 2000 he sais he got it for $5000 new man what a deal
And I believe "nu man" is a link in the "herringber" co-orperation and they make some top of the line gear.
