Before I close this: I haven't ordered because I saw that they had the at2020 too for the same price. Both are usb (still buying for my girlfriend.) is the at2020 bettter than the nady 1c
If it were me DA71. I would go for the AT. Just keep in mind that this is only a USB microphone.
You might want to take a look at Reaper as your DAW as well.
Just down load it and try it out the full version is free for an unlimited time until you decide that you like it or not and believe me you'll like it ....then it only cost $40. and that is very cheap considering the coast of many other DAWs

Thanks. I've seen plenty of stuff about reaper but I've never gotten around to trying it. Right now I have audition 3.0, pro tools (old version), ableton, and a few other ones that I barely use (well energy xt i use with linux.) I'll definitely check it out and I'll go for the at (that's what I was leaning towards since I already know there stuff is usually good and I buy from them.

Thanks again for your help! I got the at2020 for 60 bucks used from guitar center. I had to pay 8 bucks shipping and like 14 for 1 year warranty but it's still cheaper considering that it's the usb version and my girlfriend will be happy
