Behringer Autocom 1400 vs. 1600 PRO?

Hi there,

I was wondering what the significant difference between the Autocom 1400 and 1600 is. Apparently the 1600 features a de-esser and "leveling" (no hint, what that is). I'm especially interested in the quality of the de-esser. And are the any other differences?

i have the mdx1400 and the mdx2600... the old behringers and the new ones are two completely differnt comps ... imho...

i was pretty excited about the de-esser... and after a couple of months i have only used this function once.... i find the "xl" better for vocals, but the ease of use of the 1400 is way cool for drums and bass... the peak limiter is handy, but so is the (undervalued) enhancer on the 1400, this makes me glad i have both.... sorry to confuse you even more!!!

in my opinion at the prices i have seen the 1400 going for latley it is a fantastic compressor for the money
