Hello,
I could use some advice/help with a good solution for my recording needs.
What I would like to do is record vocals one track at a time while monitoring the previously recorded tracks (headphones would do fine). I have some MIDI instruments as well which I would also like to use if possible.
I have a fast PC with Cakewalk Sonar 8.5 and a basic (integrated) sound card.
Is there an external firewire or usb device that I can use to accomplish this?
I have a couple of Apex mics that need phantom power. I also have a simple mixer, but I'm fairly sure at least some of the inputs are bad. If these bits aren't recommended for whatever audio interface may be available, I'm willing to get a new mic or two as well, for the best solution.
I appreciate any help!
Thanks
