Wow, I really like this. Do you know what mics he used?

Good work Rami.url=http://users.bandzoogle.com/rami/media/mp3/Glass-Onion.mp3]GLASS ONION[/url]
The performance and mix of "Something" are excellent. Vocals are really well in tune and have just the right feel. Good instrumental performance too.Just cuz this music is too good...
A couple from a gig a month ago.
All live, one-take, right off the stage recordings:

hi everyone. I'm completely new here, but have gained a lot of insight from the board so far. I've particularly enjoyed the covers here in this thread, though I haven't had the time to go through all 20-odd pages or so, yet.
Let me preface by saying that these are the first songs I've recorded. I tracked and mixed them yesterday in AA3.0, and I would love any feedback you could offer on the poor quality of the mix and how I could improve. I can't mic my kit yet because I only have one mic (AT450D), so these have been arranged to hopefully not sound too silly without drums.
Go to myspace profile and search for artist Aaron Seither. Click on tonedeaf cover and EQ-less cover (just my names to help me remember what I think could be improved)
sorry I can't post the link but the board won't let me yet
- A ruff n ready Bad Boy (Beatles Cover)
- & acoustic jam of Mean mr Mustard / Polythene Pam (Beatles cover)
BAD BOY --- pretty good, recorded well / sounds pro ... starts of very rough
MEAN MR MUSTARD --- excellent acoustic version. Great feel and energy ... however, Whoa on the Echo. Too Much. Yikes (just my opinion)
I might just have to record my cover of "When I'm Sixty-Four" now. I arranged it for my band to cover and it just never happened.
Well.. only 3 years late.

I haven't been to this site for like 8 months. Whoops. I certainly didn't forget about this thread when I recorded this song the other day.
Everything was recorded with an MXL991. Bass is my guitar whammied down an octave. Drums were just me recording a kick, snare, and cymbals separately. Ha.
I'm not huge on the vocals, but I wasn't about to go nuts over a cover when I was that stuffy.
Sorry for the big bump, if it matters.
that's a pretty good version ... the ending vocal segment is very ingenious.
I wonder if John Lennon would have done that ?
are you the same guy who posted a few years back (here or another site) a song called Alright (or similar title) that is heavy on the synths and very old Genesis sounding ?
If so, IMHO, it's the best original posted in a forum like this.
Hi, yes it's me...lol
It is also posted on the MySpace, I changed the title to "Symphony For Synthesiser"
