Check out the start of this beatles song I fell in love with today and decided to cover and by the end of the day I have this. I need to add bass and drums but I think its alright I got a little lazy with the vocals and didnt redo parts I know need it. If you can mark the time when you think it needs fixing id appreciate it. Any mistakes or something wrong with the mix feel free to let me know.

Thanks
Dave

Nice job. The vocals are a lil trebly, they sound like there is an AM radio effect on them. Good stuff. :)

Probably not one of the easiest songs to cover. But it's always good to hear any Beatles cover.

I love this song.

Your Am is missing the high G I think, so's the C

Good feel to it and solid rhythm. Sounds almost like an internal mic on the guitar... ? I like the feel of the vocal and the pitch control is very good for the most part. I'd retrack the vocal and try to get a more consistent sound quality with the way it's mic'd on the louder passages (such as 2:31) where there's some harshness. What are you going to do with the ending?

Tim

Its not an internal mic its just a condensor and I overdubbed the track. My vocals dynamics are weird cuase I kept moving on account I was the engineer and the artist. Thanks for the compliments guys keep the feedback coming.

Yeah I know but I wanted to strum it out and it sounded better to me for mystyle without the high g.

What mic+pré did you use for the vocals?
And what effects eq did you do on it?

It sounds a bit AM radio like master DavidK said ;)

Guitars sound very very good
Good job!

I'm looking forward to the complete result !!
BEATLES ROOOCCK !!

I have an am radio effect on an overdubb of the vocals maybe ill tone it down or take it off. idk I thought it sounded more like the beatles original recording. Yeh its not my mic I used a groove tube gt55 into my tascam fw1082
