I use it, and I think it brilliant! Ads "the final touch" to your mix...

I have been using it.

it help me once with a bass guitar.
also try it in the kick or snare.

I have not use it in the final mix.
i will try it.

it is a very good plugin.

I wouldn't leave home without it

I consider my BBE one of my favorite peices of gear.
It is the last peice in my signal chain, before burning to
CD. I keep the knobs at 12:00 all the time. I have been told
that the unit is like a little mind that corrects any phasing
and fighting within the signal. I'm not a electronic wiz here,
but that makes sense to me. I consider it a final polisher of
my mixes. - It is very user friendly too. There is a high and
low end knob for both right and left channels. You can buy
them really cheap on ebay.

*shaking head*

Eeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiii... you can talk and talk, but people don't listen...!

It's probably as much of a rip off as the hardware version. Just scoop your mids if you want the same effect. If you need "time allignment" you can get the same scam by buying overpriced cables.

ps. I used to sell BBE's and overpriced cables.

its worth it

though i've never tried the full version which is unavailabe at the moment the demo is fantastic except for the silence every few seconds. i'd like to try the full version and thats if i can find it

Wow - Old thread...

I found it about as useful as the hardware version. Which makes it as useful as an accordion on a deer hunt.

The Sonic Maximizer (and several others - Aphex's units, etc.) were "pretty cool" when everything was on analog tape. But for digital, they tend to do exactly what most people complain about with digital.
