been trying out native-instrument's Battery in cubase 3.7, and I'm having a problem. If I load up a sample, generally a drum hit, the sound is shifted noticeably right in stereo space. The pan control in Battery is centerede, obviously the sample is mono, and the pan in cubase monitor for the VST instrument is centred (or actually, it's 2 channels, left and right full, with both volumes at the same level - you know what I mean). What's going on?
Weirdly enough, when looking at the Cubase monitor levels for the Battery VST, the two stereo channels play exactly the same, i.e. the peak monitors reach the same level at the same time. However, the Cubase Master levels reflect the fact that the sound is moved to the right. So it seems as if the output sound is moved to the right somewhere between the VST output and the Master output. I don't really know how Cubase routes its modules but that seems strange! What have I done wrong?
