Bassdrum Kick and bassline

Hi when i create basslines the kick and bassline, i dont how to put this,
they sorta bump into each other. I use fruityloops.
Samples used:
BD-2
Hip-bass
Its as though as if they can mix together.

Are you saying this is a desired effect or an undesired effect?

If it's desired, play on!

If not, pick a different bass sound and a different kick sound.

Try carving out some definitive EQ space for each or side-chain one into a compressor on the other to get some ducking action.

Cut the kick around 200Hz - 600Hz to avoid conflict with the bass.
Or as ssscientist said pick different sounds.
