ive been making some beats, just messing around with fruity loops, and i was wondering how you get bass that would hit hard on a system.

maybe i'm retarded. any help is appreciated.
 
you can try duplicating the track and add a comp on one using the virgin (unmolested) as an accent

just an idea ,never really tried it so if you do let us know
 
Lay down your real bass eg. acoustic bass etc. then put a synth bass over the top. This will mean that your bass will sound banging on both high quality sound systems and useless ones as well. Hope i helped l8r
 
I started out using fruity loops and all you realy have to do is increase the amp on a bass sound. Across I have since moved on to real production equiment so it could have changed.

Yes, this technique works also. ;)

But to make your beats bang, you'll need to learn how to compress. :cool:

I will look for a easy tutorial for you. I'll post it in this thread when I find the one that I have in mind for you.
