Bass Guitar Plugins?

I'm interested in what recommendations anyone here has for creating the most realistic bass guitar tracks with a midi/sequencer. I've been using some nice sounding soundfonts, but know there's much better out there. I've read about Spectrasonics' Trilogy VST plugin - any users? And Steinberg is soon releasing Virtual Bassist. Let me hear some opinions. Thanks.

I like the Edirol Super Quartet basses. But I still prefer playing bass. I haven't found anything that accurately catches the nuances of a real bass (without extensive editing that is).
