Don't know if Ampfarm does bass amps too...
Not a plug-in, but the Bass Pod Pro has digi in and out, so you coulp reamp while staying in digital.

Don't be afraid to try guitar plugins like Warp VST, ReValver or the like. There is nothing that says these won't sound fine for bass, too. If you hammer KaZaa search hard enough, you'll come up with these. Download them and try them out.therage! said:
The cheapest hardware bass modeler that's high quality with S/PDIF out is the J-Station, which in addition to many excellent guitar amp and cab models also has Ampeg, SWR and other bass amp & cab models. You can get J-Stations for around $100 used and $150 new. Best modeler value out there by a mile.

Hmmm.. personally I sat down with a pod pro for an afternoon.. I didn't like the emulation of the amp I own (SWR400) and I simply don't like the sound of the other amps (only the dub-thing sounded ok). The effects were far from effect-ive, I could barely hear them..

Naive use of hardware modelers doesn't really tell what they are capable of.
In the case of the J-Station, the only way to really tell what's going on or what the unit can do is by tweaking in the J-Edit program on computer.
It takes a bit of experimentation to get the sound you'll be happy with. The presets on all these modelers are jokes, just demos to sound impressive in a noisy music store environment.
Sophisticated sound will require sophisticated useage.
