Basic Vsti needed to record/mixing

Well often it gets very confusing for any newbie and its same with me as well. We all have discussed about basic equipments and stuff. But which basic VSTi do we need to install for recording and mixing purposes.

I use Reaper and FL Studio (DAW) for recording.
I have Presonus Firestudio Mobile, have this cheap Indian make dynamic mic as I currently cannot afford condenser mic at this moment.
Use Guitar Rig for my guitars

So my question is that do you guys know basic Free VSTi needed for vocals for final mixes and stuff. Talking about Vsti that any studio will have in its armor to enhance the overall sound.

Also there is so much of information here that one cannot know where to start so any basic threads links or FAQ's for help in recording/mixing and stuff.

Fact is there is no magic "overall sound enhancement"
some things you'll need that every studio has are
Compressor
Fx(delay, chorus reverb and such)
Equalizer
Maybe some filters (hi pass, low pass)
Limiter
and maybe a De-esser

That's true, it is confusing and frustrating and there is so much information out there, much of it contradictory {though I prefer to use the term 'complementary'}. But therein lies the key. Any way you look at it, you simply will not find two people whose knowledge, approach and history are identical. So keep reading, asking questions, researching and experimenting. It's probably no consolation now, but there does come a point when it makes sense and you'll be able to share some of what you know.
This doesn't answer your question directly {KOP has done that adequately} but I just wanted to encourage you coz we've all been there to some degree.
