Basic rock....

Sure. I have a Strat that goes into a Yamaha DG Stomp pedal. I run that into the back of my Peavey Studio Pro. But I only use the speaker, not the amp. I mic with a 57 and into the Focusrite pre-amp. I just use the pre-amp for it's warmth, bypassing the compressor, etc...Sometimes I use the Tube Sound.

For this song, though, I had just discovered "Impulses". Don't ask me to explain hiw they work, but I put the rythm guitars through a Mesa Boogie impulse, and I think I put the lead through a Marshall impulse of some kind.

Actually, this is probably the 4th version of vocals to go over this music track. I've re-worked it a million times, let it sit for a while, and re-worked again, every time coming up with something different and good in it's own way, but just not the right thing. I think this one works, but only time will tell. :)
