Baritone Guitars

As you all know, we may have what we need, but we always want one more. I am interested in baritone guitars because i want that heavier sound without having to change the tuning all the time on a regular scale, or put acoustic strings on a regular electric so it sounds decent when tuned way down as one of my friends has done.

What models do you suggest? What to stay away from? Does it cost that much to convert a bolt on to a baritone?

The models I have an eye for are the Jaguar HH Baritone and I think it was a schecter hellraiser or somesuch but they are hella exspensive. Are there baritones i should consider that i may not know about?

I used a Dano Double Guitar that had a Baritone guitar on the bottom neck. I've always been happy with it, but have only done one or two shows with it. I used it on a recording somewhere, if you want me to try and dig up an mp3 of it (it was a clean recording, so you can get an idea of the tone it makes), let me know.

That would be sweet if that's not too much trouble.
 
Very oddly, the guitarplayers review hadn't included the Gibson LP Baritone..??..:confused:

I got one, cheap, for 900 euros. needs a setup, a new bridge, and by now a thorough cleaning.
I've put .14mm set of strings in it, playing with it is kinda like wrestling a donkey... But man, it growls...

..got clean sounds somewhere if wanted, at work now.

After I started playing with the heavy damn log, all other guitars of mine feel like child-toys in my hand. Sound too....:D:cool:
 
 
I'm not into 7 strings, but they look alright, thanks for the tip, mayhaps i'll try one, but i dislike most of the music produced by seven string players
