B77 recording problem

Hi,

I recently get a revox b77 mkii. The heads look pretty clean, un-used almost. I was trying to set it up but don't understand why everytime I make a recording, it always turns out very noisy, filled with these seemingly random scratches. Have you cleaned all the switches and contacts? I had an old Sony that I had to clean every thing before it would work right.
