B.O.B - Beast Mode (Murdoch Remix) - Feedback appreciated

Have you had a listen to this on small speakers or earbuds? I think you've got a heap of low end in that mix that you're just going to lose on small speaker/phones.
I think the vocals need to come up a little. I see where you're going with the EQ on the vocals, I like the idea but think it's a bit strong.
Anyone else agree/disagree?
 
Im listening on small speakers and the bottom ends still there, but only just...the snares too high in the mix and too dry..the raps to low, needs to come up

nice rapping..but the instrument levels needs some tweaking
 
thanks for the feedback..ill work on the mix and upload the updated version..any other tips anybody?
 
I hate that snare man! I just like a nice tight snap when it comes to snares, nothing personal. The mix is missing a warm, defined low end and everything else might be a little bright for me. The rapping is on time though. There's a thinness going on that's taking away from your very excellent vocals. Something needs to fill up the mix, it could be the lack of warmth, I'm not sure.

I think you should do some key changes and some timing changes. So far, most of the tunes I've listened to in the clinic are seriously lacking in this department. Time changes and key changes make song way more interesting in my opinion. I know it's not always an easy thing to do, but if done right it has massive effect on the overall product.

You're on the right track brother, keep it up.
 
its cool the original gives the vocals much more ... it needs more power and a lil better blending ... i cant be as detailed as these guys since im only an artist but u have great potential
