I'am an old 4-track tape dude(1980-1990).i learned about computers and became a computer tech 5 years ago. but applying it to multitracking's another ballgame.
this will probably be the first of many posts so it's "Newbie time" for me all over.
i'm a singer/songwriter(released studio album and singles) who wants to record on his computer.i bought steinbergs b-box sampling groove machine to learn drums & looping. well----i am not a drummer, although i hear what i want. i never got any documentation or instructions on b-box.i never recieved word back from steinberg on how to use this software.
i bought it 6 months ago,got frustated and put it away.
i'm now trying to build me another studio via my computer.
i need to figure b-box out.
My basic question: how do i build drum parts to the accoustic guitar songs i've written? any video help out there?
this looks like a valuable resource and i will be your buddy for life for a nudge in a positive direction.
thanks much,jwgeetar
