aux channels

I'm using ntrack 2.2 on win2K(ASIO). I've been trying to use the aux channels for effects, but I'm not hearing their output. I see their meters jumping, but their output isn't going into the main mix. What's going on?

It's like a real mixer.First set the send level (just under the fader in the mixer view).Then go to the main aux bus up top and set the levels there.Lastly,go back down to the return levels under the send and adjust to suit.
