Automation in Sonar - driving me nuts!!

So this must be why snap shot automation is so frickin weird?
I'll stick to envelopes, thank you very much.

ps: Thanks all of you for bringing this out. Sorry you had to go through it, but I'm sure others (like myself:) will benifit from it.
 
I record my autiomation as MIDI-data, and then convert it to Envelopes.

Sonar sure is a beautiful thing! :D
 
Select Edit -> Convert MIDI to Shapes (at the bottom of the menu). :)
 
But if you have set up your Control Surface in Sonar, then Sonar will automaticly convert your recorded automation to Envelopes... :)
