Has anyone used the Aurolex "mini traps" to be used with mics (I don't remember what the actially marketing name is).
They have holes in them that can slide over a mic stand to trap refections (and/or provide isolation with multiple mics - such as drum mic'ing).
If so - have the "artists" commented on having this hunk of grey foam right in front of thier noses?
I find my self wondering just how bad the need is for a product like this (there must be a need - since they are making them). Maybe to isolate drum mics, but I would think there are other, better, more cosmetically attractive ways to reduce relections than foam on the mic!
