Has anyone in this forum used Auralex Xpanders for recording vocals in a less than perfect room?

I put a post up and plenty have people have looked but no-one has helped.

Maybe no one has helped because no one shares your concern. You are asking about a pretty specific piece of harware.

If you rephrased the question to 'recording vocals in a less than suitable room' you might get some suggestions. I don't think anyone's first recommendation would be an Auralex Xpander.

Be sure to get right down to the nuts and bolts of your problem --- hard/soft surfaces, shape + size of the room and what happens when you try to mix the vocal as you've been recording it without the Xpander.
