Listen jackass, How are you going to put something together that is amazing to your ear if you are busy spending money on things that you don't know how to use or what it does? I am sorry I answered your question with another question, but hell, you could have saved your $100 just by moving your mic over 1/2 inch. The exciter is really good for resurecting dull sounding tracks. Cheap equipment tends to sound bright (really more like shrill) in the first place, so adding more brightness might not be a great idea.fiveironfriend said:What a friendly bunch of assmasters some of you are, I appreciate those of you who decided to treat a newbie to recording like me with some respect, and to those of you who forget that they didnt always know everything about recording, lick my balls. Everything you use in yoru studio is a tool to make it sound better, preamps, condensers .. why not get the best possiblegear that you can. To me a recordrd peice of music is about putting something together thats amazing to the ear, im gonna do whatever i can to get that done, even if it means buying a 100$ peice of equipment.
The way you asked the question, it sounded like you had no idea what it does or what it is used for. If that is true, I have a box to sell you that is the true secret to making your mixes sound 'big time'. It's a little more than $100, but it is handmade and only the bigshots have it.
