a friend of mine just got 3 audix micro-d mini condensor mics for micing toms and these little dam things sound amazing!!!(runing them through u/a-m2-610) anyone out there who is looking to get great tom mics should look into these. they sound better than 421's to my ear. they are hyper cardioid and run about $180.
