audioprimatives.opt. DRIVING ME CRAZY!

Hi,

I've got Cubase 4.5.2. With all the avaliable patches and updates installed.

My problem is that everytime I run the program for a length of time (Can be 10secs - 20mins) I get an error. The error message involves the audioprimatives.opt file found in the Steinberg/Cubase 4 folder.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it? I think I've tried everything but I thought I'd see if anyone here knew how to help.

Also, please post if anyone is also having this problem.

I'm really stuck.
So annoying as i really want to be able to use Cubase 4!

Do you know if Cubase 4 is just bug filled or am I really unlucky?!
 
I can't help you, but you might try over at www.cubase.net website. I just did a search there and nothing mentioned about audioprimatives, but you can register and ask.

Thanks for your time but i've looked long and hard on cubase.net. A few articles but no solutions.

If I bought Cubase and it didn't work I'd be more than just annoyed. From what I've read the audioprimatives.opt is not a Cubase file. You might try contacting their customer support.

I think your right. Customer services seems to be the way to go... I I won't hold my breath though!
