Ok I have gotten alot of help here but Im still lost in some ways but what I was wondering how can I record in stereo with the audiophile and the audiobuddy preamp together? When I record it only record in mono. This is how my setup is. I have two rca right and left plug into the input of the audiophile going to the output of the the audio buddy pre amp which are plug in with two 1/4 balance plug these are all the same wire. What i was wondering if I can get me a y adapter 2 rca male to 1 1/4 plug to record in stereo? Sorry this must be confusing since I am confuse myself explaining but try to help me out.

Thank You

I also was wondering does 2 rca = 1 1/4 wires Since I see that the delta 44 has 1/4 plug ins and the audiophile has only rca plugs

one rca = one 1/4

so on the audiophile, you have 2 rca input jacks.
use 2 separate rca-1/4jack cables should solve your problem.

on audiophile, each input is mono,

to record stereo, connect EACH output of Audio buddy to EACH input of the card.

BTW, what stereo stuff are you trying to record?

The Audio Buddy has 2 alternate, independent 1/4 in. unbalanced, inputs and the input on the audiophile are mono so you saying i connect each 1 wire from the input of the audiophile to one of the output of the audio buddy? Would this work? Sorry if Im being a dummy cause Im a newbie and I want to make sure that I get it right. Oh and I dont even know what Im trying to record to stereo I just thought recording to stereo is the way to go.

Guitar Center does have them. I saw a set just yesterday when I was looking thru some sp/dif cables.

to record mono, do you need to connect the audiophile to the preamp with two separate RCA-1/4" cables (since the audiophile has a left input and a right input) or do you use one cable? If you use one cable where would you plug it into the audiophile since the audiophile has a left input and a right input?

If your not recording stereo then your audiophile has to simultaneously recordable inputs- left=track one, right=track two) think of its as being totaly seperate- in your tracking software you can it which input (left or right or both) to record- if you're recording a mono source in stereo its just takin up more space on your computer- no need for it- you could probably do somethin like this:

mic--(xlr)---> audiobuddy 1 --(1/4" to rca)-->audiophile left---->track 01
mic--(xlr)---> audiobuddy 2 --(1/4" to rca)--->audiophile right--->track 02

I hope that makes sence and hopefully thats not too basic(if it is -didnt mean to offend ya- if it isnt then i hope it helps)
