Hello all,
Unfortunatly, my r0de nt1A got stolen. SO, I'm going to buy a new vocal mic. I really liked it but I was thinking maybe I should try something else. I was looking at the Audio-Technica AT4033CL. It has really good ratings. I was wondering if anybody here could tell me about it. Is it really nicer than the nt1a? Do you guys have any other suggestions in that price range? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
-Pete

I am a big fan of the At 4033 but I don't think I would recommend it as your ONLY vocal mic. 4040 or 4047 or 4050 wou8ld be preferable as they are large, the 4033 is medium. A CAD M179 or an ADK Hamburg or Vienna would also be nice

i was recording my show and another band stole it.

For Vocals I wouldn't an AT4033. The Rode would be a better choice IMO. A 4050 can work well with the right preamp.

you need to track that other band down and get your mic back

or at least save face and kick someone's ass
