We used and owned both. The ATM25 is an exceptional mic. The Pro25 is a decent mic.

ATM25 is a great mic. It's my fave kick mic and my fave bass cab mic. I'm not a fan of the Pro 25. One of my buds says it's not even close to being acceptable.

Ive never owned the ATM 25 but I can tell you from first hand experience that the PRO 25 sucks a fat one on Kick drum. It does however find its way onto the floor tom constantly. It seems to do pretty well in that position for me.
I got mine for like $45-50 used on Ebay. So i guess it really depends on what you want to use it for.

thanks guys. I'm watching an ATM 25 on eBay. Wasn't sure cause I'd heard of the Pro 25. I knew one of them was a good kick mic.

I borrowed an atm25 from an acid jazz drummer here, does a lovely job on my kick drum so I just bought one off ebay.
