no samples but trust me its worth it...at least with dynamic or ribbon mics...i was using my mackie stock pre's for my SM7 got the RNP all i can say is to the difference..it went from lo fi and grainy...to hi fi and full...wit my marshal mxl 1006(condenser mic) the difference was more subtle but the lower mids sounded more defined less muddy

That last little "riff" I posted in the MP3 clinic was using an RNP as a bass D.I. and an RNP with a Sennheiser e609 Silver on the guitar riff...
The RNP is worth the money, I use for drum overheads everytime.

just listened to the session1...Can't believe how crappy the SP B1 and B3 sounded....all the mics went thru the Hardy preamp, but when it was SP's turn, it sounded like the whole set-up changed...I still don't believe those mics sound that bad. Not acusing the people that tested them of anything, but something didn't seem right there...
anyone else listened to this session?
