I've had my US-122 for awhile and I actually gave up on it after failed attempts of messing around with it,but I've pulled it back out to give it another go. I've figured some more things out, but still have some questions. Please be patient with me, I really AM trying.
When I play back audio (vocal, recorded through me audio-technica 2020 condenser w/ phantom) through my US-122 in Cubase LE after I've recorded it, I only hear sound out of one speaker...and it's not even very good sound. It is very low in volume and doesn't really get me anywhere. I've read through other peoples' problems like this, and tried some suggestions there but to no avail. I've switched it over to a mono recording because before I had it on a stereo...didn't really occur to me. (Obviously I'm not too good with tech. stuff...but I'm trying.) Everything else seems to be working pretty well with the exception of that (and believe me, this is hard to overlook!)
Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
Edit: I've fixed the fact that it's only coming out of one speaker...I don't know how but it just started working. Maybe I bumped something. But the sound quality is still rather poor and low. Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it?
