Hi! I am new to CUBASE VST 32.

For some strange reason the channel numbers are lacking in the audio mix track (list).
I want to do some volume changes on some drums, but there is no way I can find the channels!!
It is just blank in that column...
Anyone??
Thanks a million!!

Before you can select a channel you have to activate from the Inputs Window. When the given imput is green you can then select it on your track.

Don´t get it!!

Hmmm...I don´t think I understand.
Do you mean VST input window? It is already lit green there. I am talking about the audio mix track, when
going into list mode. The track numbers are missing there. I see everything else, when events starts and finishes, but not which channels which is doing so.

Kindly,
natasja

I'm not sure what excatly youre refering to by "audio mix track (list)" my best guess is the track list in the Arrange window, if that's the case you can select the columns that are displaying in the window by clicking on the column border header.

Ok its like this

If you go from the arrange window to the top and hit "Panels"...you choose "VST channel mixer 1".
You then click on "Write" to record volume settings
and other info, right? Hence a new track will emerge
in the arrange window called "Audio mix". You click on
that track once to make it grayish, then "Control" + "G".
You are now in "list" mode. On the left field there are
a lot of info, column by column. The last one is called
"Chn" which means "channel". But the channel numbers
are not there, only the events. That is what I want to
find out how you find them, in order to change (in this case) the volume here and there.

"List:
This menu item opens the List Editor. The List Editor can be used for MIDI Tracks, Drum Tracks, Mix Tracks and Audio Tracks."
