Audio card / interface for mastering

Hi, can you recommend me soundcards which are good for mastering (flat frq characteristic)? I use only software plugins for trance productions.
 
As long as you stay away from gamer cards (Creative, etc) you'll be fine.
Monitors and your room will be much more important decisions.
 
If you have a 'pure' digital out, just go with a Presonus Central Station or something. The DA is worth the price of the box by itself.
