attempt at a typical love song

I usually write about stupid things or avoid going for the emotional vibe, but I said what the hell and wrote this piece of junk. The lyrics are purposely awful but I think I like the melody and cheezy violin emotional vibe.

What do you guys think of mix? I'm semisatisfied on the mix but I think maybe the guitars are a little to trebly sounding for the song.

Listening now. It's a very nice idea but the vox production needs sorting - at some points it's buried (OK if that's what you want) but on certain notes it jumps out. Sounds like you've EQ'd it to get a telephone effect but didn't quite finish the job, if you know what I mean. There is a certain touching congruence between the tone of your post and the bashful nature of the vocals, the whole thing smacks of male reluctance to commit ;) It's potentially a hell of a song if you'd just make up your mind about the vox.
 
took your suggestion and upped the vocal presense a few db.
 
I can only repeat what Garry said. The vocals are "AM RADIO" or "telephone" ish and not loud or present enough. Having said that, it's a a pretty damn good song.
