ATM25 Question

Is it really that small. Or does the Royal Mail have a device for shrinking microphones?

it is that small......I had the same reaction when I first saw those type mics.......boy, we newbies are silly

put one of those big ass foam looking wind screen/popper stoppers over it if size is a big issue

I had the same reaction when I got my Neumann KM184. I just thought "WHAT? Its THAT small?? Great, now I am finally having a Neumann and no-one will ever see it". Does size really matter??

Nah, it's not a problem; just a surprise. I was expecting something about 33% larger. I bought it primarily as a Floor Tom mic and it's size makes it ideal for that application (nice and unintrusive )

The ATM25 is pretty small... let's see, this one here in my hand is about... 4 and 5/16" long, and about 1.5" around on the grill end.
