Athlon XP users

WTH... how about this...
i formated my c:\ and switched from xppro to 2000...

i installed nuendo and then each set of plugins that i use...(waves and psp ) everything worked fine, even at pc133...
i installed BBE sonic maximizer.. and everything started messing up... thats the problem.. that plugin.. so i removed it... the computer is running smooth right now.. i will need to update the video card.. but right now, the computer is running smooth..32,48,64 tracks.. its smooth...

when i upgrade the video card i'm gonna look at a matrox 550 or something on those lines because i want a dual head for dual 17" monitors..
now to tweak 2000 a little..and i'll be back in business...maybe even run a session today
 
When I ran this configuration:
ASUS A7S333 Motherboard, SIS 745 Chipset with
AMD XP 1800+
ATI Radeon VE dual head
My computer would spit out green gunk and it's head would spin. In a strange voice, it would say "I am the devil - undo these straps"



Removing the ATI and adding a NVIDIA GeForce MX440 64meg Dual Head AGP card made my computer behave like a good little catholic girl.
