At4047

About three weeks ago, I came in here asking advice on buying a microphone and a quality microphone cable. I was very grateful for the number of responses I got back, and I just wanted to report back that I finally bought an AT4047 and am very excited about it. I haven't recorded vocals on it yet, but the guitar tracks I've recorded are really superb. I'd highly recommend the mike, and the Monster mike cable I bought.

I'm getting all set up for recording my gospel quartet. We do the old black gospel stuff and the only instrument we use is my guitar, so it's important that I get a clean sound out of the track.
I swear I sound better on the recording than I do live..

You know we going to have fun when we start recording!
