AT3035 better than NT1000?

Final decision here: 1) keep the AT3035, and add one MXL mic such as the V67g.
OR
2) sell the AT3035, and grab the NT1000.

I think it's goofy that you endorse this mic in one thread and ask if you should sell it in another.

Well, i dont know what to do. There is a seller here who's selling his NT1000 for $250 locally. that's a good price since Rode mics are a bit expensive in Canada for some reason. i could grab that now after i sell the 3035 to a buyer. i don't know which route will be beneficial for me. as i have mentioned above, will the MXL V67g be a good mic for recording vocals?

I do endorse the 3035, but i was thinking of stepping up slowly.

Okay...I read quickly so forgive me if I missed something, but...
if you want a brighter sound than that produced by a mic recognized as being fairly bright, then why not brighten the room...the room you say is "quite dead".

Just seems the obvious solution...or atleast something to try before wasting any more time and money.

it is a better mic than either you are asking about, and that's a good price on it.
