a-t pro37r

Hi, I've been using a pair of the A-T pro37r for drum overheads. They sound fine to me, I've gottne results I am pleased with. Originally, they were bought for a former band of mine to carry into clubss as overheads, so they've seen less than the best care and still seem to work fine. I bought these because I had used them in a studio previously.

I don't think they're being manufactured anymore. A good Oktava MC012 should be better, and I've heard the MXL603s is a better mic too, but these mics weren't really around back when this A-T was available.

They were about $140 US street price when I bought mine, so your price seems fair. $65 Canadian about $50 US, right? Just check it out and make sure it works before you pay for it.

they are pretty cool sounding. not very "natural". but cool.

they work really well on things you want peppered up.

be prepared for some tizzy sizzle on hats and acoustic guitar strings. in pair with a 57 they sound great... (balance the two extremes)
