I'm having trouble figuring out how to route channels back out of my MOTU 896. Does anyone know how to set this up?
I know I need to go to the tab that shows connections (Ins/0uts) and assign them.

Dunno if you worked it out or not but if you go to the VST Connections menu (Its in one of the drop-down menus from up the top right hand side) you can assign them all there.

That probably wasn't clear but yeah you simply assign certain inputs/outputs to buses in the input/output section of that dialogue and it becomes pretty easy.

For example, I have Eight mono inputs assigned to each of my ins on the interface. In the output section I have the main stereo bus assigned to output 1 and 2 of my interface.

I then set up 6 mono output buses for outputting headphones mixes or effects sends. To each of these outputs I simply assigned an output on my interface.

Good luck, it's fairly intuitive.
